This 3 Day Level II Handgun Course teaches the students how to safely, accurately and efficiently shoot your revolver or semiautomatic pistol.

Instruction is in the classroom and on the firing range where you will learn about:

• Safe use and Handling of a Handgun
• Handgun Selection Considerations
• Support Equipment such as Belt, Holster, Magazine Pouch(s)
• Importance of the Fundamentals of Marksmanship
• Presentation of the Handgun from the Holster to the Target and Safe Recovery back to the Holster
• Loading, Unloading and Reloading Techniques
• Static Shooting Positions
• Multiple Target Engagement
• Introduction of One Hand Shooting
• Cleaning and Maintenance
• Review

Upon completion of this course the student will:

• Demonstrate the safe use and handling of a handgun
• Understand how to fit a handgun to your hand
• Understand action types, calibers and ammunition
• Consider your holster based on your personal needs
• Safely and efficiently draw from and recover to a holster
• Demonstrate foundational shooting techniques
• Safely and efficiently load, reload, and unload a handgun
• Safely and efficiently hit multiple targets
• Safely and efficiently hit a target with dominant hand only

You will leave training with confidence in yourself, and the solid foundation you need, so that you can continue to advance your knowledge and abilities as a responsible gun owner. Upon completion of the training you will receive a MARKSMAN LLC Course Certificate of Training
