Defensive Rifle Level II

The Defensive Rifle Class is a level II rifle course. The student is required to have experience with precision rifles before attending (We have a basic course available before you take this class) This class is designed with a solid foundation of the fundamentals of marksmanship along with an understanding of the basic principles required to establish accuracy at extended ranges.

The student can expect target engagements from 100 to 600 yards.

We will cover the following topics:

  • Selecting equipment
  • Sighting in and zeroing
  • Tactical and Combat reloads
  • Multiple targets engagement
  • Proper rifle setup
  • Zeroing your rifle
  • Fundamentals of Marksmanship
  • Body positions, Supported and Unsupported
  • Use of cover and concealment
