Intro to Precision Long Range Marksmanship
Two-Day Precision Long Range Class
The Two-Day Intro to Precision Long Range course is an entry level rifle course. The student is not required to have experience with precision rifles prior to attending (however, each student will be expected to possess basic firearms handling and safety skills prior to attending).
The class is designed to provide the student with a solid foundation of the fundamentals of marksmanship along with an understanding of the basic principals required to establish accuracy at extended ranges.
The student can expect target engagements from 100 to 600 yards.
We will cover the following topics:
- Zeroing your rifle
- Proper rifle setup
- Body positions of shooting
- Selecting equipment
- Understanding your weapon system
- Dialing dope or hold over
- Basic fundamentals of ballistics
- Understanding wind calls
